TE-8105 Featured in Tech Times, Highlighting Fatty Acid Bundle Engineering and Biweekly Dosing Potential

International technology and health media Tech Times recently featured Immunwork’s long-acting GLP-1 receptor agonist TE-8105, highlighting its First-in-Human clinical results and novel fatty acid bundle molecular design.

According to the report, TE-8105 is developed using Immunwork’s proprietary Fatty Acid Bundle Platform, which incorporates two long-chain fatty acids through a multi-arm linker to enhance albumin binding. In the Phase 1/2a study, TE-8105 demonstrated a mean plasma half-life of approximately 120 hours (about five days), supporting further evaluation of a biweekly subcutaneous dosing strategy.

The report also highlighted the favorable safety and tolerability profile observed in the Phase 1/2a study, with treatment-related adverse events mainly consisting of mild gastrointestinal symptoms and no drug-related serious adverse events. Preliminary trends toward body weight reduction and improvements in metabolic parameters were also reported.

Tech Times further highlighted TE-8105’s potential for less frequent and potentially needle-free delivery, including its preclinical sublingual development program, as well as Immunwork’s planned Phase 2b clinical trials in Q4 2026.
